JASON Yates scored the winner as Ossett Town moved back into the play-off places with a narrow win against Colwyn Bay.
New Ossett man Issac Assenso forced Kieran Wooland into a fine save early on, as both sides played with energy and attacking intent.
Yates put one in the net but was given offside, before Andy Hawkesworth went close.
In the second half Yates put Ossett in front with a fine finish, before Colwyn Bay went down to ten men with Danny Bartle sent off.
