GRESLEY won a hardearned three points at Moat Ground with goals from Matt Melbourne and Leandro Browne downing Romulus.
Romulus had a great chance when Liam Hailey broke through the Gresley back line but, with just the keeper to beat, skewed his shot wide of the far post.
On 29 minutes a good move involving Reece Morris and Browne ended with Melbourne giving Gresley the lead with a well-struck shot.
The lead lasted just five minutes with Jordan Francis bursting through the back line to slip the ball beyond the keeper.
