WITTONmoved within one point of the South leaders after staging a second-half fightback.
Liam Holt struck at the far post and Jack Langston converted a penalty for Chasetown in the opening half-hour to leave Witton reeling.
This was after Robert Hopley had headed them in front withhis 23rd goal of the season.
