■IN a match of high drama at Harrison Park Leek Town lost their chance of a top five place whilst Rushton consolidated their position in the playoff zone with a narrow victory.
Leek lost their leading scorer Tim Grice with less than a minute on the clock after colliding with a defender.
Grice needed lengthy treatment on the pitch before being stretchered off with nerve damage.
Leek went on to strike the woodwork twice in the opening half whilst Rushton striker Nabil Shariff saw his penalty kick superbly saved by Ben Chapman.
