A LIVELY opening encounter at First Point Shawe View saw the hosts lose to newly promoted South Shields.
Trafford broke the deadlock on 38 minutes when a great turn and shot by Ash Woods was parried and the loose ball tucked away by James Dean.
A lapse in concentration during a corner saw Grant Henton miss the cross and Jon Shaw headed in the equaliser.
Great play down the left from Jamie Holmes on 62 minutes saw the ball squared for Carl Finnigan to score the winner.
