RAMSBOTTOM United started off the season in fine style with a hardfought victory.
They deservedly took the lead with a composed finished from Jerome Wright on eight minutes. The half became more even leading to an equaliser shortly before the break when a Connor Sellars free kick found its way to Tom Corner.
Wright won the points for the Rams on 85 minutes bending in a superb free kick that Michael Ingham couldn’t keep out before Luke Thompson bundled the ball over the line to make sure.
