AFTER coming so close to promotion last season Maldon & Tiptree started their campaign with a win at reprieved Ware.
The visitors had the lion’s share of possession in the first period without creating much, with the hosts’ Yannick Kamanan’s long-range effort sailing narrowly wide.
The eventual matchwinner arrived shortly before the break with Chris Millar stroking home from ten yards out.
