REECE Grant was at the double for Heybridge Swifts as they opened their season in winning fashion.
His brace in the first half gave Swifts a comfortable lead, one from which they never looked back.
The first came on 17 minutes, but if the home fans thought that was good, they clearly weren’t counting on the spectacular volley to double the scoring just ten minutes later.
Mildenhall came out strongly after the break and pulled a goal back from the penalty spot by Chris Bacon on 77 minutes, though Swifts held on for the points.
