GREENWICH Borough were held to a draw in their opening game at home to Whyteleafe at the DGS Stadium.
The home side had made a number of impressive signings during the summer like former Chelsea youngster Connor Hunte but it was the away side who started well, Clayton’s effort smashing the post from distance.
Borough held possession but it was Whyteleafe who took the lead through Charlie Ponstance in the 52nd minute, the midfielder tucking past the
