THE absence of several key players was strongly felt as Ramsgate opened up with a disappointing defeat to Phoenix Sports.
A break on the left saw Dajon- Golding centre for Frank Sawyer to slot home on 25 minutes.
But the Rams equalised when when Adam Woollcott, smashed home from the edge of the area,
However, two quick-fire goals from James Fitchett and Golding in the space of three minutes ensured that the visitors went home with the spoils
