SQUIRES Gate will be having a laugh this season.
The Hallmark Security North West Counties Premier Division outfit have installed Blackpool comedian Tony Jo as their new joint chairman.
Jo, who runs entertainment company HRH Entertainments, with clients such as Joe Longthorne, Roy Walker and Mick Miller, fills the void left by Stuart Hopwood, who stepped down at the end of last season after 10 years in the role.
Secretary John Maguire, who took over as chairman on a caretaker basis during the summer, will share the role with Jo.
