MERSTHAM came from behind twice to salvage a share of the spoils from a scrappy affair.
Dan Bennett’s 85th-minute shot denied Tooting’s Terrors their first win of the campaign.
And the Moatsiders were only denied victory themselves by late saves from the visitors’ goalkeeper Kyle Merson.
