A SOLITARY Luke Callander goal was enough to separate Aveley and Heybridge Swifts in a nailbiting encounter at Parkside.
Callander broke the deadlock after half an hour played, following up on Luque Bantick’s rebound to convert from close range after some fine midfield play from the visitors.
Aveley could not find an answer, lacking clinical prowess in front of goal, as Swifts searched for another to try and put the game to bed.
