MOLESEY enjoyed the upper hand against Ashford United after edging their encounter at Homelands Stadium after a late winner from Ronald Sobowale.
Both sides struggled to finish in front of goal during a stop-start half in a frustrating game which produced five yellow cards, as both outfits attempted to maintain possession.
But as the visitors pressed, it was substitute Sobowale who made the breakthrough in the 76th minute to nose his side in front to the disappointment of a 196-strong home crowd.
