WHYTELEAFE movedjoint top of the nascent league table with an easy victory against a poor Shoreham side.
Leafe rarely got out of second gear but only the woodwork and some fine goalkeeping from James Broadbent saved the visitors from a thrashing.
Leafe took the lead in the tenth minute when Daniel Ajakaiye was first to latch on to a through ball, took it round keeper Broadbent and slotted the ball into the empty net.
