■TRAFFORD kick-started their season with the first win at the First Point Shawe View Stadium.
It was from a free-kick that Trafford made the breakthrough when, in the 25th minute, Lewis Corrigan stepped up and curled the ball around the wall to beat the keeper at his near post.
Trafford made it 2-0 five minutes later with a neat move down the right.
James Dean crossed to the far post, where Jason St Juste pulled back for Michael Monaghan to tap in.
A double substitution at half-time prompted a good opening spell for Goole.
