BARTON Rovers were left frustrated on the full-time whistle after losing a hardfought game against Chalfont.
Rovers fell to the only goal of the game in a monsoon at Sharpenhoe Rd.
The sparce crowd witnessed a dour affair as chances were at a premium and quality was low throughout a tight and tense affair between two nervy and lacklustre looking teams.
As 87 minutes went by without too many chances being created, Jake Cass scored with three minutes to go as he ran through and slotted pasted an outstretched Adam Harpur in the Rovers goal.
