THE scoreline doesn’t show the true measure of the match after Bedford were beaten comfortably by Hayes & Yeading.
The visitors exploited a mistake in the Bedford defence in the third minute and Manny Duku took advantage to slot the ball past Kyle Forster.
The Hayes defence kept Bedford at bay as they looked to equalise.
After Jack Smith made four spectacular saves in two minutes to deny an equaliser, Duku claimed his second goal as, again, the defence were static and the striker took advantage to beat Forster again.
