AN improved performance wasn’t enough for Bishop’s Cleeve to pick up their first points of the season.
Omar Simpson gave Taunton the lead shortly before half time with a deflected effort.
He then doubled the lead just after half time following a goal-mouth scramble from corner. The win was sealed just minutes later when the Cleeve keeper missed a back pass and the ball was judged to have crossed the line, despite protestations from the hosts which the linesman ingored.
