HIGH-FLYING WINGATE struggled to a scrappy win against bottom side Worthing.
The first half an hour of the match was devoid of a genuine chance and neither side looked close to making the breakthrough. However, just after the halfhour, Gate keeper Shane Gore was forced into a magnificent save by Rian O’Sullivan.
A curling cross was met by O’Sullivan and it seemed destined to nestle in the back of the net however Gore produced a piece of magic to tip it over the bar.
