JUNIOR Ogedi-Uzokwe earned a point for Maldon and Tiptree as they came from behind to draw with Waltham Abbey.
Having missing a penalty on 25 minutes, the visitors did take the lead after 38 minutes when Jack Deveney’s free-kick was stabbed into the corner of the net by Billy Holland.
Despite both sides making some good chances, the only other goal of the game came after 72 minutes when Ryan Gondoh was brought down as he burst into the penalty box, and Ogedi-Uzokwe stepped up to confidently fire home the resultant spot-kick.
