THEpoints were shared at Barton after a closely-fought encounter exploded into life in the second half.
Tom Hunt and Lamar Simpson were prominent for Hanwell whilst Barton’s Danny Watson was starved of any quality service throughout the first 45.
Hanwell started the second period strongly and were creating openings, but wasteful finishing and some good Rovers defence kept them out.
On 72 minutes, Watson’s penalty sent the keeper the wrong way to open the scoring.
