■ TWO fine saves late on kept Faversham at bay. Guernsey took the lead when Craig Young hit an exquisite curling strike.
Faversham responded with chance after chance but couldn’t convert. They suffered a major setback when Matt Bourne received a straight red on 40 minutes.
Guernsey took advantage and doubled their lead with substitute Paris Pereira’s opportunistic strike.
Guernsey finally succumbed to pressure when keeper Callum Stanton scooped substitute Luke Griffith’s delivery into his own net. Stanton, though, made amends with two great saves ...
