A STOPPAGE-TIME strike from Craig Gillies denied new Aveley boss James Webster all three points in his first game in the Millers hotseat.
Jordan Watson gave Aveley an early lead after just 13 minutes played.
That lead was doubled eight minutes later when George Woodward’s pinpoint ball found Adam Bolle who fired home at the near post.
Soham reduced the deficit when Lee Chaffey pounced from close range.
And just as the hosts looked to have won, Gillies beat the offside trap and his effort trickled over the line.
