GOOLE salvaged a point with an equaliser by Scott Smith late in the day against Droylsden.
In an even first half where the quality was poor, Goole came closest when Tyler Williams burst onto a pass from Smith, but could only shoot straight at keeper Ritchie Branagan.
Droylsden took control of the game at the start of the second half, and raced into a 2-0 lead through Ruben Jerome and Ciaran Kilheeney.
But the Vikings replied quickly through a Williams penalty on 54 minutes.
