RYANRobbins struck a second-half penalty as Gresley ensured the spoils were shared at Stocksbridge.
The hosts started brightly and took the lead midway through the first half through Brodie Litchfield, who poked home from close range.
In a keenly fought encounter, Gresley pressed for an equaliser and got their reward 20 minutes from the end after Robbins was upended in the area.
He dusted himself down and, after being instructed to retake his penalty, converted at the second attempt.
