ALEC FIDDES’S spectacular 92nd-minute volley gave Kingstonian a hard-earned three points after a thrilling game which belied the conditions.
Ks took a fourth-minute lead but Wingate recovered strongly and had the majority of the possession and chances until Fiddes made them pay for their profligacy.
Wingate’s former Ks striker Reece Beckles-Richards fired narrowly wide on two minutes.
And Ks responded two minutes later, Sam Alderson turning Tom Collins’ cross in from close range.
