MITCHELL GILBEY’S 100th-minute penalty saw Canvey Island take all three points.
Canvey took the lead on eight minutes when George Craddock’s shot hit the bar and went in, only for Alfie Carroll to head in an equaliser.
Canvey regained their advantage on 35 minutes when Elliott Warren’s header from a corner hit the defender on the post and fell perfectly for Ryan Charles to slide in.
The visitors levelled again when Callum Watson played Ollie Peters in behind the defence, and his looping shot caught the wind and flew in.
