SITTINGBOURNE’S run of seven successive wins which took them to second place was halted by stubborn Chipstead.
The Chips took a seventhminute lead when Chris O’Flaherty’s corner was flicked on and Jordan Martin thumped it, denying Sittingbourne going ten hours without conceding.
They finally equalised in added time when Kane Rowland touched in from close range, but more drama followed when home captain Ben Gorham got sent off for his second yellow card of the afternoon.
