TWO quick-fire goals just after half time were enough.
Basford came flying out of the blocks after the break as Matt Thornhill just failed to connect with a Deon Miekle cross. The deadlock was broken on 47 as Thornhill’s free kick from the left was deflected into his own net by Bedworth striker Iyseden Christie.
The second goal on 50 minutes from Liam Hearn took the game beyond the visitors as Thornhill and Sam Nash combined and quick as a flash the clinical Hearn dispatched a right food shot into the net.
