A DISAPPOINTING afternoon for Barnstaple saw the visitors claim a well-deserved victory.
Jordan Charran and Tony Radford had chances for the home side before Marley Thomas opened the scoring for Slimbridge after being set up by Joe Wilton.
The second goal soon followed. Neal Osborne in the Barnstaple goal saved well from Wilton, but Adam Mace was on hand to net the rebound
The visitors remained in control after half-time with Osborne making a great save to deny Max Harper-Emerson.
The visitors made the game safe on 75 minutes through Wilton.
