MET POLICE extended their unbeaten run into double figures with what in the end was a comfortable victory, after a flurry of late goals
The Police took the lead in the 19th minute of a niggly firsthalf.
Tom Bird’s free kick found Jonny Wright whose header was parried by Trawlerboys keeper Ben Dudzinski. But the big striker managed to bundle the rebound into the net.
The Police threatened to run riot but their finishing was not up to the standard of their approach play.
