ARLESEY Town’s Luke Elsome put in a fine goalkeeping display to deny Chalfont all three points. Chalfont asserted their early dominance and were denied in the opening minutes when Jake Cass’ effort was well saved.
But in the 36th minute, Cass made sure he did not miss, latching onto the end of a tantalising cross and powering in his header from close range.
Elsome then produced two stunning saves to keep his side in the contest as St Peter failed to finish Arlesey off.
