JAMES Peters’ perfect header rescued a point as Bedford battled from two goals down.
Peters met a pinpoint Ryan Auger free-kick to claim a share of the spoils 15 minutes from time, after David Manu pulled one back ten minutes into the second half.
Ashford were often defending the first half, but on the stoke of injury time, they were awarded a penalty which Alex Fisher put away.
