A STRONG second-half performance saw Beaconsfield secure a rare home win. A poor first half was notable only for Hanwell’s ex-Ram Sam Bunting saving a Wes Daly penalty.
Beaconsfield started the second period with renewed purpose and, after Goldy Capela had spurned a golden opportunity, Dan Brown rose to powerfully head home a 52nd minute corner.
A fine team move three minutes later saw Daly set up Scott Cousins to calmly slot past Bunting.
Jamie Norris in The Rams goal was barely troubled in a rare clean sheet performance.
