CAMBRIDGE City closed the gap on leaders Moneyfields with a home victory over Fleet.
City started the game on the front foot and Tom Knowles was unlucky with an effort that went just wide.
Fleet went close with a free kick but City took the lead shortly after when Ryan Sharman headed home.
The second half started with City in the ascendency but Fleet got back into the contest when substitute Luke Haskell stroked the ball home.
City had to work hard, but got back into the game following a quick break, finished by Buster Harradine.
