BURY TOWN moved into the play-off places as they earned three points with a goal in each half.
Brentwood’s Andy Freeman had his team’s best chance in the first half, picking up a loose back pass but he could not beat Luis Tibbles.
Freeman and Bury’s John White both had goals disallowed for offside before the visitors crafted a fine goal in the 36th minute, Tommy Robinson finishing well.
Cemal Ramadan made it 2-0 in the 55th minute, applying the finish following a free-kick.
