GRANT’S TREBLE DAMPENS CHIPS

CANNONS striker Dean Grant claimed a first-half hat-trick that saw off Chipstead’s challenge and maintained Hythe’s strong start to the season.
Grant got his first of the afternoon on 20 minutes with an artful lob over Chips keeper Michael Sibley.
The home side replied five minutes later with Chris O’Flaherty’s strike but Grant was at it again on 27 minutes - latching on to Jordan Johnson-Palmer’s pass before slotting home.
