ROMFORD belied their lowly league position by dominating proceedings and will wonder how they were left pointless.
The early stages were all Romford but they had nothing to show for it as Potters Bar were the first to score, Eoin Casey’s 32nd-minute shot taking a wicked deflection and wrongfooting Michael Gooch. Harry Daly hit the post as
Romford battled but Potters Bar were two ahead as Casey headed home a 59th-minute free-kick. Jonathan Nzengo halved the arrears but the hosts held on.
