RUSHDEN & Diamonds put up an impressive display as the team from Northamptonshire thrust Uxbridge aside.
Rushden began the first half well and took the lead after nine minutes from a Ryan Robbins’ header. AFC Rushden soon made it 2-0 in the 18th minute, Tom Lorraine forcing home a corner after poor marking from Uxbridge’s defence.
