KENDAL were forced to dig deep but they managed to claim all three points.
Ashley Jackson shot wide for Ossett on ten minutes early on.
Connor Gaul shot and it was saved by Leigh Olverton on 17 minutes and seven minutes later he was again denied.
Danny McGhaon shot over for Kendal on 32 minutes.
But Kendal eventually went in front on 36 minutes thanks to the impressive Gaul.
A Neil Sinclair shot went over the bar on 64 minutes.
Danny South’s shot went wide on 65 minutes.
