CHESHUNT made a promising start forcing early saves from Rhys Madden in the visitors goal, before Aveley found their feet and started to return fire.
Aveley scored with a free header at the back post from Sewa Marah.
Cheshunt equalised in the second half when Jason Hallett slammed home from 20 yards after Adam Wallace was initially denied. The home side produced the best move to win it playing a series of short passes before sub Michael Kalu calmly passed the ball across the keeper.
