CORBY staged a dramatic late fightback but it was the visitors who ran out worthy winners.
In Lincoln’s first serious attack some poor defending left Matthew Cotton a clear shot on goal, despatching into the bottom corner.
Seconds later the visitors scored again as a loose ball fell to Phil Watt to prod from close range. Corby must have known it was not their day when Phil McGann excellently saved Sam Mulready’s second-half penalty.
They did have the last laugh by scoring twice inside a minute.
