HARINGEY Borough’s poor league form continued with slim defeat to Hertford.
The hosts conceded a penalty on the half hour mark after a clumsy tackle by David Olufemi. Michael Toner’s resulting spot-kick was saved by Ashley Harris but Toner followed up to prod home and give his side the lead.
Hertford had plenty of chances to double their advantage in the second half, Ricky Light and Charlie Ruff both going close.
They had Jay Lovell sent off for a second yellow card with a minute left to play.
