■A GOAL in each half from Tom Chapman ensured Lewes took maximum points home from the longest away trip they will make this season.
Having triumphed in just one of their last four matches, any nerves were put to bed when Chapman broke the deadlock after 19 minutes.
Lewes continued to probe, but could not find the finish as they went in at half-time with the slenderist of advantages. Four minutes after the restart the points were made safe.
Again it was Chapman on target at Southwood Stadium for The Rooks.
Lewes are one point clear of Cray Wanderers ...
