TONBRIDGE ANGELS 2 HARROW BOROUGH 1

TONBRIDGE got their Christmas programme off to a winning start but were pushed all the way by a very useful Harrow side.
The first half produced little action, with the first chance arriving on 28 minutes, Harrow’s Ryan Moss shooting straight at Angels keeper Jonny Henly.
Six minutes later, Angels striker Nathan Elder’s header found Alex Akrofi but Harrow custodian Melvin Minter rushed off his line to snuff out the danger.
There was an increase in tempo after the break and the Angels went ahead on 51 minutes.
Xavier Vidal’s pass sent Akrofi clear and he rounded...
