SHOMARI BARNWELL scored twice as Ashford United eased to a comfortable home win over Shoreham to put further breathing space between them and the clubs at the bottom of the table.
A Shoreham win would have left the gap between the league’s two worst sides at nine points but Ashford stormed clear.
Andrew Dalhouse opened the scoring ten minutes after the break and that opened the floodgates, with Barnwell doubling their lead.
