GUERNSEY blew a golden opportunity to rediscover some form as nine-man Hythe rallied.
Will Thomas’s lunge on Keanu Marsh earned a straight red inside ten minutes, and the same Guernsey man was bundled over in the area on the quarter-hour mark by Ben Wilson, with Craig Young dispatching the spot-kick.
Guernsey wasted chances to secure a result but their task should have been easier when Jerson Dos Santos was given a second yellow.
