CHAIRMAN BOWS OUT

ALISTAIR Bayliss has stepped down from his position as Margate chairman after a year at the helm.
Having taken the role on in 2016, Bayliss guided the club through financial difficulty during the past year while establishing it within the community.
The club installed a 3G pitch at Hartsdown Park which allows the stadium to be open seven days a week to the surrounding area.
Bayliss was also responsible for the appointment of young manager Steve Watt, who has guided the Gate to ninth in the Bostik Premier and seven points off the play-offs.
