JOE CHRISTOU’S 30th minute free-kick was enough to seperate the sides at Fetcham Grove and see off a Kingstonian side which hasn’t scored a league goal since mid-November.
Christou’s shot beat Ks custodian Rob Tolfrey’s despairing dive to his left, having been fired at some pace past a poorly-placed defensive wall.
Ks began both halves at a stirring pace but they got bogged down by a mixture of a heavy pitch, solid defending and their own frustrations, as did the game itself for long periods.
